I want to put a Swaro on my 6.5-284 this spring, I want something variable 5-25 , 6-24 , 50mm obj. target turrets and not illuminated 30mm tube. I checked the web sight witch just confused me. Anyone with an opinion as to what model you might have or could suggest so I can research it farther would be appreciated.
Thanks.....Sarge

I have a 2.5-15x56 and really like it that I put on one of my guns last year. 30mm tube, like all my other Swar scopes, but nice dials and great repeatability with the preset yardages. 500 yards off a rest is a cakewalk for me now (no wind). I have been using their glass for about 40 years and this is by far the best one I have owned.

As a long standing supporting vendor on this forum it would be our pleasure to discuss options and special opportunities with you. Please give us a call, 516-217-1000, if you have a few minutes. Swarovski scopes have been difficult to keep in stock due to popularity and back orders so once you decide on one we can get it slotted for you to have in time for the Spring if it is not readily available

Or the Swarovski X5.

Swaro Z series scopes are great glass, but handicapped by limited elevation and windage range. Not the case with the X5 series.

I really like Swaro glass and thier customer service is top notch. A 50mm objective lens has an exit pupil of 2mm at 25x-Z5 and 1.8 at 30x- Z6. IMO a 56mm objective is minimum when you get to 20x. The bigger the better objective when you get above 15x IME. Look at 30mm tube and 56mm objective my .02.

Good luck and shoot straight y'all

I have the Z6… 3-18x50. Is the x5 superior only in dialing or is the glass any better as well?
