Is there a consensus on a go-to gunsmith to open up a standard mauser bolt to a magnum at a fair price and quality work?
If so, I need this work done and am in the market.

Understand that you will also have to alter the extractor, feed rails and possibly the mag box to accomplish a satisfactory conversion to a magnum cartridge

I have their mag bottom metal and follower and have ordered a mag extractor. I don't think the commercial feed rails will need altering and if so well within reach of getting done properly. This is for a left-hand action or I would have been able to just get a right-hand mag action fairly easy if I was right-handed. In fact, I have a right-hand mag action sitting here now. Just need the bolt face opened up professionally and not for a stupid price.

Jkob comes highly recommended for work on Mausers, he added a 2-position swing type safety on one of my rifles at what I thought was a fair price and great turnaround time.
