My nephew is in the market for new hunting scope. He was looking at the meopta meopro 3-9x40 but it seems they have been discontinued. He is looking at the optika5 2-10x42 which is around $150 to $200 cheaper but is 5oz heavier and the glass isn't quite as good. He was hoping to find something of similar quality to the meopro in the same price range but if he can't find anything, he plans on going to the optika5. Do you have any other suggestions? I mentioned to him the leupold vx 3hd and the trijicon huron 3-9x40, neither of which I have any experience with but have read good reviews. He is staying away from complex reticles, 30mm tubes, 56mm obj, target turrets, and any other bells and whistles. He just wants a quality 3-9x40 or somewhere in that basic magnification range with good glass in the $500 range.

Why don't you go ask your America/Trump hating, Biden-loving liberal retard buds over on AR, and kiss the dunecooons azzz a while while your there?
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

At the moment, in a 1" tube, the Optika5 or the GPO Passion 3x, in that price range, is the way to go. Keep in mind that GPO is brought by the old President of Zeiss USA so their Passion 3x is extremely similar to the old Zeiss Conquest series
