Scope #2(VXIII 2.5-8x36 Matte Plex W/ Talley fixed rings). Does the scope tube look new? I realize it has the rings still on it, what was it mounted on?
If it was on a long action model 70 or if it will line up on a long action model 70 with those talleys so that no ring marks will show I may be interested in a straight across trade(your scope and talleys for my like new VXIII 3.5-10 x40 Matte duplex).

The tube looks brand new. The whole scope looks brand new, in fact.

It was mounted on the Winchester Model 70 375 that I recently sold. It belonged to a customer, and he changed his mind on what he wanted before he ever took delivery. The scope has seen about a dozen rounds of use.
