Roast at 520 for 31 minutes, door shut tight for 2 hours, carve.

Swung by Publix today and picked up two more for $6.79 pound. Amazing store, they even trim them decent and remove much of the extra fat. These were sliced up into rib eye steaks and vac sealed. Might go back and pick up a couple more,

What does the center end up being with that method?

you can't beat it. I got 2 whole ones yesterday, going tomorrow for 2 more, each one is roughly 20 lbs, that's 80 lbs Choice Ribeye. awesome

Those roasts were getting swarmed by folks getting off work

Pharmseller, how'd you use the Safeway coupon more than once? It says 1 time use and only 1 download per account. I had taken my wife to an appt and the closest Safeway was Lake Grove. Butcher said it had to be in the bag, not any of them they had portioned out. Way too hard to tell quality in the bag and I didn't need 18+ pounds. Settled for the Angus choice NY roast that was only 6.5 lbs for the same cost. I'd like to look for a good rib roast, but not sure how to reuse the coupon.

Anyone tried the Sams club / members mark already cooked Prime Rib?

Ad says in the bag but they’re all cut. The coupon on the phone didn’t work the first time but they saw I had the coupon so they made a manual adjustment. The coupon worked the second time. The coupon didn’t work today but it still showed on my phone so they did a manual adjustment.
