Looks like it was a prelude to them announcing their new mini 9mm pistol.

Aha.. yeah, they have up a bunch of styles of a Savage "Stance" pistol now. Only 9mm at the moment, I'm sure they'll expand that soon. Not bad looking.

I'm really going to go out on a limb and say that this handgun model will probably outsell the one at the top. Just a wild, off the wall guess...

But will Loggah be able to get a non-working Stance pistol stamped DUMMY on it?

I think it's a bit funny that Savage started the double stack magazine in a pocket pistol with the Savage 1907.. and now in 2021 introduces a single stack 9mm. Wonder if they'll add a 380 doublestack Stance in the future?

Or if they are intentionally keeping it to 10 rounds or less to "comply" with CA/NY/NJ/MA/CT/other restrictive states?

It's just good to see Savage actively playing in the game with new offerings.

It looks to me like that 9mm might be a bit small for my hand!! Got a browning high power, and colt 1911's that fit better.

Now that's funny .

I asked Jessica Treglia at the NRA convention in 2017 (Atlanta) when Savage was coming out with a plastic CCW pistol . This was when Savage was still owned by Vista . With a smirk she said she couldn't disclose any information .

I knew it was coming and would have happened sooner had Savage not been sold back to private ownership .

I wish them well and hope they sell a ton of them. But like others have said I'll stick with what I have, Colt 1911's. There's no wayinhell I could ever get a concealed carry permit here so there's no point in my getting something like this. I can think of lots better guns to target shoot/plink with than a tiny 9mm that weighs nothing.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if Vista hadn't been holding back on handgun development. I was shocked when Savage Arms came out with a modern sporting rifle while under Vista management - Vista has a lot of products they sell to the "woke" liberal crowd. Always wondered if Savage Arms didn't do that just so Vista would sell Savage off... grin

And don't forget, a .45 bullet leaves the barrel at a diameter a 9mm bullet hopes to expand to.
