One of my friends little girls 4-5 yo, prayed for a puppy at bedtime. Her daddy didn't want a dog...after all he has 5 children to clothe, feed and with work no time for pets.
Nobody knew about this request except for her mom, dad and God. ....
.......The next day, guess what shows up at the front door?
Wagging his tail and weaned from it's mother was a happy little puppy looking forward to his new home. He was a tan, good looking mix.
My friend couldn't say no to the answer of his little girl's prayer request.

If I ever happen upon someone dumping their pet, the wife will probably have to bail me out, if I am lucky. If I am not, there probably won’t be bail. People like that infuriate me, and I have been known to be had to pulled off a guy by some really brave friends for less than that. Cannot say how many good pups I have seen in a ditch, looking at each passing car as if maybe they were coming to take them home. Not very good at passing such up. Especially when I have no trouble finding them a new home. There is no excuse for dumping a tame animal that look to you for its needs. People like that need beat and stomped half to death. If they are weak and go the rest of the way there, too damn bad.
