A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sims. Followed by a Christmas story Never seen that one. My other two favorite ‘s would be the first two Die Hard Movies. Not really Christmas movies, but both storylines take place on Christmas Eve. 🤠 It’s an old classic black and white but in my humble opinion it’s the best version of the story. Agreed. Wife and I watched it last night. We have it on DVR. Part of our Christmas tradition.

That is a very good movie - everyone should be able to relate to at least one of the "chapters" in it.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

We regularly watch a handful...and since my daughter is young, several movies are animated. Our family enjoys various versions of the Christmas Carol story...but we watch the Mickey Mouse version the most.
My wife's favorite is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
I don't think we've officially gotten into the Christmas spirit until we've seen The Polar Express by Robert Zemeckis.
Netflix's Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russel is really good...but the sequel is forgettable. The jailhouse scene in the first really makes the movie. Seeing Kurt Russel as Santa Claus is an absolute hoot.

A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sims... Agree
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Mines Definitely “A Christmas Story”
“You’ll shoot your eye out, Kid !” The Thing...seemed pretty Christmassy to me.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

One my wife and I watched last night that we always enjoy:
We're No Angels (1955 film)
It has Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov, Aldo Ray, Joan Bennett, Basil Rathbone, Leo G. Carroll, and Gloria Talbott. Ustinov is a riot, and was in quite a few comedies, but it is surprising to see the comedic talents that Bogart had.

I'm sitting here wearing a Bailey Brothers Savings and Loan , Bedford Falls , NY T-shirt I try to watch every version of A Christmas Carol I can. There is a new one with Patrick Stewart as Scrooge. I have it recorded but I have to watch it with commercials so I'm hoping I can catch it streaming somewhere else. Seen it. That's a good one, too. Just finished the B&W Christmas Carol. I watched the colorized version of it yesterday. I was multi-tasking so I didn't catch it all but in the 1935 version I don't think they don't even show the ghost of Marley. He talks to him thru a door. What I like about the Christmas Carol movies is they seldom vary on Marley speech Scrooge:"But you were good man of Business" Marley: "BUSINESS? MANKIND WAS MY BUSINESS!"

Grumpy Old Men is up there on my list Good one. Watched both it and Grumpier Old Men again last weekend. The outtakes at the end with Burgess Meredith are as funny as the Movies !

Actual Christmas movie - It's a Wonderful Life

As I said, Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without “It’s A Wonderful Life”. But there are others that I love just as much . “Scrooged”, and “Christmas Vacation” Top the list because they’re hilarious. Pocketful of Miracles, Glenn Ford and Betty Davis is another I love to watch. Anne Margret was I think, 19 years old, her first movie. One I hadn’t seen before was on last night. “It Happened On 5th Avenue”, where a bum takes over a rich mans house, and at his daughter’s request, the rich fellow pretends to be one the squatters . Oh. One more thing. Die Hard and Lethal Weapon are NOT Christmas movies! They’re Action Movies that take place at Christmas time! 7mm
