It really depends on what caliber my NEWEST gun is in...Working up loads & getting to know each other...currently a Rem. model 7 stainless in .223...last year .338 Win Year before 7 mm Rem. Next year .257 Weatherby...

Seems like 30-06 only because I have three and at least one is always calling for a newer and better load.
For hunting it would be 280 Rem.
