The heating element on my Lyman Ultrasonic brass cleaner died. I'm tire of heating the water up on the stove and transferring it. Time for a new one. Amazon sell lots of off brand ultrasonic cleaners for jewelry and other things, and they are a heck of a lot less expensive than the branded types (Hornady/Lyman/etc). Is there any real difference other than the name?

I’ll sell you a Hornady ultrasonic cleaner. I’ve never used it, it’s sitting a top a cabinet in my garage.

I use one from harbor freight. No problems and I am happy with the results. I usually don’t worry to much about water temp though. Do you see a big difference using hot water?
