Hi guys I am looking for some pricing advice. I saw a New in box Colt SSA .45LC blued barrel with case colored frame and black grips it’s at a local shop priced at $1,899.99. The shop got bought by regional chain store and they are discounting the old stock of hunting and more traditional guns off to make way for more AR-15 and semi auto guns. That price seemed low to me and now I’m thinking if it’s a good deal I should get it. Kinda always wanted one as a shooter not a collector but it’s not on the top of my list but if it’s a great deal I’d rearrange the list. I am not current on what these are selling for? The google results I found were it’s out of stock at similar prices or on an auction site for twice this price. My question is how good of price is this? What category does it fall into? “ that’s the going rate “ “You can find them for that price if you looked around and we’re willing to wait a month or two for a deal to come up” Or “ that’s a steal and your an idiot if you let it get away at that price” Thanks Lang

Buy it. Even the “Current Generation” Custom Shop version’s are Worth that. The 3rd Generation Colts have recently jumped up to the $2500 to $3000 range.

Buy it, shoot it, and carry it. In today’s market that is a price you can’t walk away from.

I assume you mean an "SAA". If it is a new one of recent production, that's about what they go for . You need to find out exactly which iteration it is as a custom shop gun will bring more.
