Can someone please help me with identifying exactly a Remington Model 700C “Custom”. I have included a picture of this rifle but trying to put know more about this model. Thanks !!
Hanco’s rifle is a classic example but there are a couple of slightly different stock profiles, especially the fore end and fore end tip. It may or may not have “Remington Custom Shop” on the top of barrel, about half way to the muzzle. The blueing may be high gloss or slightly matte. I have examples of both fore end types, Custom Shop stamp and blueing finishes. It’ll probably display better than average accuracy.

Never had a " C" grade custom from the custom shop. They are special. Never had any 700 not shoot and well at that. What are those pictured chambered for?..mb

Mine is 30-06. It is an early one, 1969. The profile of the stock is slender compared to my 1978 BDL. Not sure if the later ones are the same. Pic of them side by side.
