If the seller is so inclined on any firearm, it might not hurt to research the serial number of your gun and thereby date it. That will increase your chances of selling it if it's C&R eligible. Just sayin'.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

If the seller is so inclined on any firearm, it might not hurt to research the serial number of your gun and thereby date it. That will increase your chances of selling it if it's C&R eligible. Just sayin'. Do you have a book that lists DOM on Westernfield? I don't. Actually, I don't believe I have ever seen one but I have led a sheltered life.

WesternField was Montgomery Wards brand and were only sold by Montgomery Wards. Your .410 was made by Mossberg for Wards and is nothing but a rebranded Mossberg 500. Western Autos house brand was Revelation.
