I think the Fires troubles are related to the "Flashing Red Envelope Icon" It's watching You.......... Well dang it all to H E Double Toothpicks. When BobNH passed on the proverbial streams from Ghostbusters started to be crossed. There used to be two forums with a group that was interested in guns and hunting and a group that was into guns and hunting but with booze added. There was a sense of decorum when he was around but he would not suffer fools lightly. Now there are shadows of the old forum but there is a lot of chit blizzard and old timey religious revival going on at the same time. Sure miss posters like Kutenay(Dewey), Alan Day and BobNH. It was more like sitting around the fire with folks that had stuff to say. Some of the old timers are still on but I feel many just look in disgust and move on.

Why do you think my medical history is any of your business? Why do I "owe" you an answer, and why are you entitled to ask that question? I already know the answer. You took it because your doctor and the medical authorities told you it was a good thing to do. LOL, you've got all the answers, dontcha? I haven't talked to "my doctor" or any other medical professionals about the vaccine. My personal experience with doctors has not been the best so I don't depend on their advice. But why haven't you answered my question quoted above? You're asking me to publicly discuss my medical history, but you refuse to give me a reason why it's any of your business, does that about sum it up? United Healthcare is my health insurance carrier. They keep sending me emails asking me to fill out an online form that documents my vaccine status. I haven't done that for my health insurance carrier, why should I do it for "joebob on the internet?" Why is it any of your concern?

I am not sure I accept the premise of the O.P.'s question. As others have stated the campfire evolves.
To insinuate it was sudden, and without providing examples makes me reject the premise.
Now for the sake of a good argument and or pissing match..... I will say in 2015/2016 during the presidential campaign a certain contingent was butthurt that anyone would support Trump and not their Texas booger boy..... as Gruff said a lot of liberals and rino's were outed..... the old Fudd contingent was so far behind in understanding the cultural war that was raging on, yet they kept arguing and refusing to open their eyes.
Then the coup de grace was covid..... again more closet leftist, more clueless Fudds.
I remember when the old guard would go after Hawkeye with a vengeance.... gave him the KOTY award.... everyone of them has been proven wrong and Hawk has been proven right...
This encouraged the leftist trolls to jump in and further divide.
Hell I will even nominate DocRocket for the KOTY award this year... I believe he thought he was doing the right thing, yet he played into the hands of the Bolsheviks.
