Excellent powder. Comparable to the 4350's. You also have a damn good wife!! Better hang on to that one..

The wife got me some Ramshot Hunter for Christmas. I'm not finding much loading information. Any pet loads in .338WM or 30-06 ? She said she saw the rifle on the label, and figured I could use it. Mr. Barsness wrote a good article, "Getting the Most Out of Your 30-06", linked HEREHe has some good advice on Ramshot Hunter with 180 grain bullets. Enjoy, Rex Thanks for the link

Excellent powder. Comparable to the 4350's. You also have a damn good wife!! Better hang on to that one.. Actually Hunter is slightly slower than H4831, more like Reloder 19. But because it's a spherical powder, more can fit in a specific case. Just received my 2022 Hodgdon Annual Manual today, where my article on Hunter describes what I've found after almost 20 years of using it. They even published one 7x57 load I worked up using 7mm-08 data, because Ramshot has never listed any 7x57 loads.

Love Hunter and big game !
I use Hunter in my 6.5, 270 and 06.
I use big game in 06 with 168s, Hunter I use 180s
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.
