My grandmother would make hot lemonade and add a tsp. of honey and a shot of whiskey. Smother our chests with Vicks, put /an extra night shirt on us and sweat the stuff out of us. Worked very, very well.

My grandmother swore by a cup of hot water with a tablespoon of vinegar and a teaspoon of honey.
Three or 4 hot toddies and put on you sweats and go to bed is what I say.
My uncle would grind up 3 or 4 aspirin, mix them in a glass of very hot water and chug. Followed by all the hot water you could chug and then to bed. This actually works for me.
