Citizens Free Press had videos of towns burning. 800 homes and business so far. Up to 100 mph winds.

Hard to fathom this time of year, especially with a foot of snow on the ground here.

no snow on the ground in the area of the fires. Downed power lines started the flames and no end in sight yet. At the rate it's going, won't be surprised if 1,000 homes burn by the time they get it stopped.

Nightly news reports look pretty serious. High winds here all day.

We haven't had any meaningful precipitation in months and it's been too warm and windy. 12 days above 60 degrees in December is just wrong.

Cold and snow is FINALLY coming tomorrow they say. A day too late for many.

My work was on pre-evacuation notice all afternoon. They finally evacuated everyone around 6pm. Lot's of people in dire straits!

Ahh, the California model. This tragedy will lead to a windfall for the Sate as they will fine the power company, who in turn will raise your rates.

We have friends who just moved to Broomfield. They've evacuated.
