Anyone shooting the 129 ablr in a 6.5 ? If so any reports of performance on game? I'd like to run em in a 6.5 prc.

Any good loads? Thanks

I used that exact cartridge and bullet combo this year in my 6.5 PRC. I got the rifle just before hunting season and did a quick work up with RL26 and the 129 ABLR. I zeroed it with the Hornady 143 ELD factory stuff then I used those same 20 cases to develop the loads. I have some ADG coming, but the Hornady worked fine for now. I also think I used CCI250's, but I am drawing a blank right now. 61.5 grains of 26 ended up hovering around an inch and it was a neat 3200 FPS or so.

Took a medium sized buck for my hunting area at 160'ish yards. Worked just like a 270 would have at that range. I believe I seated them around 2.955 but don't hold me to that. After the snow clears I'll run a few different seating depths to see if I can tune it up a bit more.
