We just got our FFL's in today. A firearms mfr and ammo mfr licenses.

We already have 20 rifle in line. The wait is currently about 14 weeks.

We will be starting production on rifles in about 7 days.

Thanks all!

Congratulations Celt. Glad to hear it.

Now, do you need some bottom metal for all those rifles?? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

There will be some that will be using your bottom metal. I just have to wait until they get here to be sure and then order them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks!!

Hopefully I can send you my bolt now for the bolt mod and Badger Bolt Knob. I hate you couldn't do it before the Ft. Leonard Wood guy came down, as they were pretty interested. I will send them a performance eval and pics, however, and maybe you will benefit, anyway... Chris
Matt-- My .308 wears a set of your bottom metal, too. It has become a real Campfire rifle. Pac-Nor baerrel, Mc Millan Stock, Williams Bottom Metal, Jewell Trigger, Leupold Scope and soon to have a coating of Birdsong's Black and Green T.

Thanks Ready. I've been meaning to get that damn thing fixed for a while now. Wasn't sure what the hell I was doing wrong, but it's all better now.

Hey Jamison,
Why don't you send me some pics of it. I'd love to see the finished product every once in while <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Good to go.
The new mill is in and ready to rock.
Man I am impressed with this new Acer mill.
42" table, power feed, power quill, frequency adjusted speed and DRO.

It is truly a great mill IMO! Better than I had hoped.

Pretty sweet huh? We've had one for about 3 years now. We've ran everything just about that was made and the Acer is the finest hands down. A guy is a lot better off to have learned on a crappier machine though before he buys an Acer, othewise you'd have no idea what you've got.
Those guys are now making CNC equipment in the price range of Haas. I'd be curious as to what they can pull off in that arena.

I hear there is a set up you can get for that ACER that turns it into a two axis CNC. I guess it runs about 17K so we will not be doing that for a couple years LOL.

I learned on an old Enco bench top, then an Enco knee type.
I then had a Jet, which was nice, but nothing compared to this ACER.
It is truly a great machine

Actually, they've had that retorfit option with up to 3 axis' now for many years, but they've actually managed to produce an enclosed cabinet type CNC like the big boys. I've thought real seriously about picking up another one with the 2 axis CNC for doing stock inletting, rather than using my more expensive machinery that I can be making real chips with.

The more you run that thing, the more you'll like it. I've never ran a mill that was that smooth or accurate. Even the Laguns and Bridgeports that I've used wouldn't touch that thing.

Jeff--
Received the bolt today--EXCELLENT work!!
Guys, you wouldn't believe the difference from the factory knob! The leverage you get with the Badger unit is great-I can work the bolt with one finger. I will definitely be sending a few others for the knob and screw mod as soon as I round up the $$$....
