I am looking for a barrel for my 1916 action. Wanting a lighweight to build for myself. 6.5x55 preferred, but can entertain others. Nothing expensive, just decent.

I have a small ring mauser in 7x57. adams and bennet from midwayusa. 21". I don't know if it would fit your action. its the .980 thread.
its on a turkish mauser right now. I don't like the set up and was going to take it off. only been shot 25-30 times. PM me if interested.

JeffP40, no problem. just let me know. I built my daughter a 6.5x55 on a 98 with a Douglas barrel a very good shooter. good luck.

I have a small ring barrel for sale. It's a Douglas fwt contour , 21" long, 1/10 twist , chambered in 30-06. Blued chrome molly.
