I notice the cartridge OAL is same as the 9mm (1.169").
Something like this could conceivably enable a small pistol like the P365 or Glock 43, or similar to accommodate a 15-round staggered magazine without any magazine extending floorplates.
I doubt it will get too far though. Seems the 9mm is deeply entrenched and well supported.

A .327 Magnum in a semi-auto cartridge sounds interesting. This ^^^ concept makes it more interesting. I wouldn't expect it to be the next big thing, but a lot of people aren't looking to burn thousands of rounds per year in their self-defense guns or stockpile for Armageddon.

The EZ is already wide enough for a staggered mag in 9mm. Seems to me that a lot of people would sooner give up the easy loading mag for more 9mm rounds, since the Uplula pretty much makes that a dead issue. They could ditch that ridiculous LCI (there are better ways to accomplish that) and offer it with a RDS cut while they're at it. Oh - and fix the grip safety for all of them, not just the PC model.

Looking at the ballistics you are getting .30 Carbine performance in a 9mm length package.

Wow, this is a gutsy move. I see where they're going with this, and it kinda makes sense (on paper). It has to be cost effective, and it will compete against 9mm...that's a rough field to try to plow.

The right guy writes it up and recommends it and it'll get noticed.

Also dedicated support from the firearm makers and ammo makers. I had doubts about the 6.5 Creedmoor, but it has clearly found a place in the market. It was well supported by the gun/ammo makers too.

It requires less powder, less brass and less projectile material and when they are done, will do "the same thing" on paper.
Comparing it to the .30 Luger, it's a bit zippier, but somewhat less than a .30 Mauser and a lot less pizzazz than the .30 Tokarev carries. Probably not a bad cartridge, but I might question how long they'll load it to 50K PSI to get those numbers.....I'd think the guns wouldn't last very long that way.

it's a neat little round but, who knows? It could get a loyal following. If I hadn't already got into 9mm and .45ACP. Not to mention .38 Special and .357 Magnum, I might jump on it.
I wouldn’t have minded something like that in a Glock.
I had an original Tokorav pistol in that caliber. Or a 7.62x25, as it’s also called. Pretty snappy. Very similar to a 357 Sig caliber ballistics.
