Seems like they are announcing stuff/ giving hints on their podcast. They haven't said anything yet on this year's #1s.

on a whim, I just checked the Lipsey's website and searched for No1 https://lipseys.com/itemfinder?mfg=Ruger&family=No.+1+Seriesthe MSRP is now $2229 to $2429! are they trying to suppress demand so they can eliminate the product? or is this inflation caused by grotesque deficit spending covered by the Fed "printing" money? Doubt seriously they’ll sell many new ones at that price.

Those prices definitely put a No. 1 out of reach for all but the most die hard fan. I'm a fan, but not die hard.
Damn shame, too. I just went to the Lipsey's site to see what was offered, that 1A .22 Hornet with a case hardened receiver would be sweet.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Had my share over the years, but none “stuck”. OTOH, my two Browning Low Walls are forever guns. Matter of taste, I know, and like with the Rugers the early Low Walls in general are nicer than the current ones.
Still, I bet they sell most of the new No.1s, and not for $800 like I paid just a few years ago from Whittiker for my last one.
What fresh Hell is this?

I've looked at those offerings and prices a few times...I don't disagree that the prices are really funky, but at least three of those listings are years old. I know the .257 Bee and .275 Rigby models were released a couple years ago.
The .22 Hornet with case coloring was announced almost 4 years ago. I got one of them mid-2018 through ENU's help. And I think it was in the $1600 price range then.
If these were a run of a few hundred each, I suspect the supply from Lipsey's has dried up. I occasionally see one of each show up on Gunbroker every now and then.
The 1AH 6.5 CM is one I have seen a little but I don't know specifics on when the run was commissioned...but I'm pretty sure it too is an old run.
I don't know why Lipseys would bump MSRP on old, out of stock listings which just adds to the confusion for me....I am wondering if we are truly seeing the end of Ruger Number 1 production with "covid, inflation and anemic sales" as the final nail in the coffin.

I had a Ruger #1-B in .204 which shot smaller groups than the Ruger stainless #1-V in .204 I had. Good price on this rifle.

I bought a case colored Hornet from Cabela's last year for under $1500 and the wood is very nice a Lipsey #1 in 250 Savage was around $1600 IIRC a year or so ago and the wood is horrible. I've seen fence posts with more figure.

Poole That Hornets pretty sweet but out of my price range, or at least not a value IMO. I can’t have them all unfortunately and for that money there are other guns that I’d rather have.

The Patents have expired on the # 1's. Some smart OPERATORS with time available on their CNC Equipment will hopefully turn out some NOT NUMBER 1's and put things right. I like Ruger ,have a bunch, but THIS is time for a RECKONING !!!!!

I like Ruger ,have a bunch, but THIS is time for a RECKONING !!!!! The #1 is already a low sales volume, niche interest firearm. Going to a smaller, specialized company to put out a similar quality and aesthetic firearm (or better) is not likely going to come in at less money than what you're seeing from the high volume manufacturers.
