Have any of you guys played with a Thermion rifle scope ? I have heard good things about them, and want to hear more, before making the Mother of All Purchases.

I have the XP-50. Love it. Really easy to use compared to some. The super hogster was almost as good in terms of the view, but the Pulsar is much easier to navigate the menus. Has on board recording, and actually looks like a scope which is nice.

I have an XP-50 Thermion as well, and have been very happy with it. Outstanding optic! It's everything I'd hoped it would be. Other than wishing it was more compact and battery life was longer, I have no complaints.

I have a Thermion 2 XQ38 (coupled with an Axion XQ LRF).
I have no complaints to date. In purchasing (compared to other brands at that price point), I reasoned the entire interface is more refined than a couple of other brands and it's more akin to an actual riflescope.

You'll not regret it once you forget how much it costs. We've had ours for about a year and have killed more critters than in the previous 10 years combined. This was from Saturday night. It's been dead nuts reliable. We also got the Axiom scanner/rangefinder which is a game changer. And we just got a Trail 2 XP50 LRF so ya, we're pretty much Pulsar sluts, grin.

I have had the xm50, xp50, and the xg50. They’re excellent quality and the controls are super simple to use in the dark. I have Burris BTS 35 now that I purchased to go on a 17 HMR. It doesn’t have anywhere near the clarity of the pulsars but it is not priced near them either. I ordered an Iray Rico 640 that should be here Wednesday. I hope it’s as good as the pulsar or I’m going to be a little sick. If you are buying a new one make sure you get the thermion 2 they are the same price as the old ones and have a little better resolution.

Read/watched several reviews and think it will be a good fit for me. It seemed to me that it was a better choice than the Thermion 2 XQ50 (similar price) but not as good as the Thermion 2 XP50 (~$1200 more). Am I mistaken?
