From Haus of Arms:
"I think we are finally at a point of confidence where we can comment on this. I have been hesitant to make any commitments for the last two years as I have learned a long time ago that until you have something sitting on the shelf, you better not make a promise. Currently, we have purchased the tooling and have contracted three separate casting companies to make the frame. Two seem to have the capability and we will have First Articles from one in a week and the other the first week of January. I anticipate production in February and shipments by the end of February. It has been a long, painful, and expensive process. We are committed to the project and resolve to do it right."

Sounds good. I know you have to take one step at a time and this is a great start. I just wonder what your time line might be for a Encore type frame? By the way, I really like the looks of the SSK 50.

Great! I missed the initial order, but hopefully they made additional runs. I’d love to buy one.

I will most likely buy at least one of the SSK 50s, and SSK/Lehigh stumbled into good timing with S&W killing TC. But I really wish they would put this energy and capital into building a jaeger block style single shot similar to the K95.

I'm guessing being set up for barrels and stocks makes them want to keep the train rolling.

I am definitely buying one as soon as I can. Could be the last time we can.

The OP is a quote from the H of A blog. The origin seems to be SSK, not H of A. Keep your fingers crossed.

It’s been a couple years in the making so I’m not holding my breath, but I’ll buy one if they become available though I would prefer a stainless G2.

I've been in line for one of these frames for two years now. Hopefully things work out.

SSK and Lehigh have split up. Lehigh is now owned by Bill Wilson. Hopefully, it lets SSK folks focus on the Contender projects.
Bill will of course be out there pushing monolithics for hog killing and defense. Seems like a good fit there.

Any news on the SSK-50 receiver release. I thought it was supposed to start shipping in March.

Hard to believe that of all the hundreds of CNC centers in the US that no one has taken on building a receiver.
