I haven't seen even one episode - almost definately won't.
My wife watched this week's episode (her first) to see what it was about- I ain't starting there, so I went upstairs and read.
Today I asked her how she liked it, and if we should try to find the beginning seasons. 15 minutes later, she was still talking..... (She's from Miles City)
Finally I said - "that was a yes or no question, dammit!"
"Well, I think I have to watch another one to see."
I'm taking that as a no, until further notice, and certainly won't bring it up again myself.
What I'll get in 6 months or a year is, "Why haven't you found those first (*) seasons yet?"

I like how the men lacking in skill are sent from Montana to Texas to become real cowboys.
Sure would be fun to see what happens if a sign like that^^^^^was put up in Elko or Winnemucca. Bigger grin.
Yep. The people with money made elsewhere(read, not cow money) buy a ranch in Montana. They may have owned for years but that's not where the money comes from.
Not bashing the 4-6's, different style of cowboying, different country.
But go live in a pack rat infested line camp in Nevada. Claude Dallas didn't go there for vacation...
CowEater did you ever know Claude? I went to his trial (first one) and will never forget how he handled himself on the witness stand. I know just what you mean about pack rat infested line camps in Nevada, though the one I stayed in for a short while wasn't really a line camp, it was a remote Forest Service cabin in the south end of the Ruby Mtns.
I haven't watched 2 hours of tv in the last 10 years. My wife talked me into watching....and now we're waiting for season 5.

Most series set in the modern world bore me. I'm living here after all. I get enough drama (make believe and otherwise) as is to fill my plate. TYhe only reason I'd watch Yellowstone is for the scenery - and that's pretty lacking on the female side, as far as I've looked. The landscape is apt to be decent.
I watched one episode of Dallas, 1.1 of Seinfield and Friends (nope- not funny -1st episode wasn't an un-funny fluke)!).
I've watched Vikings and Man In the Castle, end to end, working on Wheel of Time and a sci-fi - can't recall the name off hand.
Not much funny on TV since Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, etc. The "drama" series are worse than the "comedies"
I like the show,, no its not authentic, just like Ozark isnt, but its better than [bleep] like tyrone Perry or whatever the fuQ they keep showing ,,Aint been a good series since last man standing or home improvment and the like,,, TV pretty much sux, I do wish they would show more horse and cattle working scenes,,
