I am converting 30-06 brass to 8mm Mauser. I trimmed and sized them and then checked if they would feed in my Mauser. Nope, no way. So then I annealed the shoulder area and sized them again. Still nothing. The I realized I was trying to feed them into my 308 Mauser......... Doh!!
The older I become the more I am convinced that the voice of honor in a man's heart is the voice of GOD.

I was very tired from moose hunting over the weekend, That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it. After using a self-powered floor cleaning machine, instead of parking it in it's usual place beside the supply room door, I tried to run it into the back room. The door is a good 8 inches narrower, so of course I rammed the wall/frame. It didn't work any better the second time, either. The damned thing just wouldn't fit, no matter how much run I got at it.

I did some .30-06 cream of wheat forming to 9,3x62 Mauser... It was a cluster... ended up breaking the extractor on my CZ 550.
Good luck...
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

I often wonder if there is an aging out point in reloading No kidding. Have had a few Homer moments the older I get. The reloading bench ain’t the place to be having them.

It’s called a brain fart! Don’t feel pregnant, we all have them occasionally. Thanksgiving I tried to shoot my .308 in, grabbed a box of factory shells and loaded her up. Wasn’t even on the paper! Somehow, I’d slid a tray of .243s into a box of factory .308. As long as there’s no damage or injury, brainfarts are harmless. 7mm
