I recently noticed that some of the E1 models are now being made in China. Can you tell us what models this affects and is this a permanent change?

None of the E1 models come from China. They all come from the Philippines. The Fullfield IV comes from China.

Hope this is correct

What I posted is a copy/paste from the Burris people. You could make a phone call to them and ask.

I see a lot of incorrect information about scopes on retailer sites. I never take it as gospel. Not just COO, but also specs.

Even from the products' own manufacturers, you must take info and specs with a grain of salt as some are often completely incorrect. Leupold and Hornady quickly come to mind in that regard.

Scratch Burris off my list!

Why? They didn’t change anything. They didn’t move any existing models to China. They added a couple of lines in the last year or so that are mfg in China. If you want to avoid those, that makes some sense, but to nix the whole brand seems a bit rash.

I got a E1 3 months ago and a droptine last month and both are stamped made in the Philippines.
