It might be surprising how few in the USA have any idea where Ukraine is. I once asked a former junior high school world geography teacher if she could tell me where the Balkans versus the Baltics were. She had no idea where either was. Imagine if someone asked the average American where Diego Garcia is. They wouldn't know what part of the ocean it is in. Diego Garcia makes cigars... everboty knos dat.

Obama staged a coup in Ukraine to get rid of the pro Russian govt.
Obama and the oil men want to hemn in Russia with missiles along the Ukrainian border.
They wanted Russia to give up her only warm water port in the Black sea.
So, Russia did what Russia does. Create buffer spaces in the Crimea and the Donetts Basin.
Its not about freedom or democracy or Marxism or any of that shìt.
It's about money and hydrocarbons.
Same reason we nearly went to war in Syria.
It's a pipeline war.

The only reason that Russia is thinking about invading Ukraine is because we are messing around there. I grew up in the Cold War - mutually assured destruction and all. And I would say that the erosion of good faith since that time is almost 100% on the US and NATO. We continued to move the alliance east. Why unless we still wanted to treat Russia as an enemy? What strategic interest do we have in Ukraine and if we have one is it even defensible? Imagine Russia messing in Mexico or Canada - except this is even worse. Consider the Cuban Missile Crisis and how we are sticking our nose where it shouldn’t be. Ukraine is unquestionably in Russia’s sphere of influence and is strategically indisposable to them.
I think Putin is probably a lot better man than Biden and is smarter than our last four presidents combined. Our real rival is China and Russia could be helpful in that regard if we stopped poking that bear. This is our fault and we shouldn’t risk one American life for Ukraine.

Here’s another one - do you think we were on the right side in Yugoslavia? I’m not sure. Supposedly we took on war criminals. Or was that just the spin? From what I understand we sided with Muslims over Christians in Europe. Or maybe they weren’t that “Christian” or maybe they lost the battle of public relations because they aligned with Russia.
Here’s something - look at Macron in France and Merkel in Germany. They are destroying their countries with uncontrolled Muslim immigration. Their covid measures are draconian. They make our liberals look conservative. If you stand back and look at it, are they better allies than Russia?

Send Lt Col Vindman over there he and his twin are both soviet Jews and have no allegiance to any country in the FSU or the US. amazing they both were given ts clearances but they give those out to hundreds of Chinese spies every year since Clinton Russia is there because of a gas pipeline to Europe via the Ukraine ( Europe and Biden love this) and control of ports in the black sea.
