Coyotes are always a target of opportunity to me.

Yes, I laughed at several responses. You guys are great.

This was to be a hunt to honor and reflect on everything that Doug meant to those of us who knew him. He was genuinely one of the “Good Guys”.
I went to the blind that morning with only the expectation that when the time and situation was right, I would know it.

I’m pleased with the results.

There’s a reason he chose to have it chambered that way. He wanted to be ready if ever the call came over the radio that the elephants from the Shrine Circus went berserk and we’re rampaging down O Street in Lincoln. He was ready. 🙄

He did tell me it felt awfully small that time he used it for backup when they darted an escaped Bengal Tiger in someone’s back yard.

But yes, plenty horsepower for coyotes. 😉👍

You do any predator calling in your part of the world?

We do a little, but not enough.
