of his reloading supplies. I needed some .264" 140 gr Sierra Match Kings. MidSouth has them for $44, I can order them direct from Sierra for $50, and Larry wants $53! Also needed a box of Lapua 260 Rem brass. In the past this cost me around $105, but we know prices have gone up. MidSouth has them for $119, Larry is asking $147!!!
It's his store and he can ask what he wants. Midway has often been a bit higher than others, a couple of bucks here and there. When he is asking more than the manufacturer? It does not put him in a very good light.
I've spent thousands of dollars in the last few months on rifles and reloading components. Years past much of that would have been spent at MidwayUSA. Nowadays I like Graf's, Powder Valley, Midsouth, Starline, and Blue Collar Reloading. Larry is taking advantage of the current situation.
Midway puts items on sale often and also has been offering free shipping every couple weeks I have dropped a stupid amount of money this past year on shooting stuff, and more times than not Midway has been less expensive than Graf's, MidSouth or Natchez, etc. Midway's everyday prices are way high though.........

Not being married to any particular political party sure makes it a lot easier to look at the world more objectively... Having said that, MAGA.
The only thing I have ordered form Midway USA of late is some brass and I used my birthday percentage off for some scope rings. Outside of that, Larry doesn't get much of my money anymore.
on the other end.... I got a flier, and it turned out it was because on my profile they had my birthday, which they have on file as December 28th.
I went on their site and it had a cost of $104 for a box of 1000 grain Speer 55 SP, $112 for 50 grain TNT/ 1,000, and $109.00 for the 1000 count box of 52 gr HPs. with discounts etc, and the promotion, I ended up with 7,000 bullets delivered on the door step ( no shipping cost) for like $650.00
Someone else check at the same time, and what I was given for $104.00, their computer showed $160.00 for the same box of 1000 Speer 55 gr SPs.
I asked the girl who took my order why it was cheaper than on another persons web page, and she said it was because it was my birthday...
Evidently you get discount pricing one week before your birthday and one week after your birthday....
I never knew that... but do now.
as far as Graf & Sons, I wanted a die set that was $43 from them.... found the same die set on Midway for $30., plus a couple more things I needed, that Graf didn't have. so including shipping, I ended up with the stuff from Midway for a $1.00 cheaper than I could have just got the die set from Grafs. I have tried to call Graf and cancel my order with them. NO one answered the phone, saying they were closed until Jan 10th. I have called them several times and was on hold forever, so I finally sent them an email, by returning their order confirmation email. We'll see what ever happens.. If not I'll just refuse the package when it arrives. I guess they will get the message.
was Surprised by Midway and disappointed on Grafs for once... normally that is the other way around.

I buy all my reloading supplies through MidSouth. Their prices are good, and I only live about 30 minutes away, so I can save myself a Hazmat fee, and pick them up as needed. The only exception is when I buy things like used brass, or the occasional box of bullets from members on here.
Evidently you get discount pricing one week before your birthday and one week after your birthday.... .
Thanks Seafire, you just inspired me to go check my profile and make sure they have my birthday on file. They do. I'll try to remember to use this feature when it rolls around this year.
I concur with others on their pricing, but one thing I have noticed is often Midway will have things in stock that I can't find anywhere else. If they do, and I need the item bad enough to pay what they're asking, I pay. If not, I don't. I can live with that.
