In response put out by her attorney she has claimed the investigation and the charges against her are racial and political in nature. She is being picked on since she is a black female and people do not like her,

yup and like many others has decided not to prosecute any low level drug offenses, and and many misdemeanor crimes. She claims that offenders of those crime do impact the citizens, she is still picking and choosing on majors crime prosecutions. homicides are soring and gun crimes stats are huge. The Police are under a consent decree. The gangs in the city are just walking around looking for people to kill. Baltimore the city that bleeds!?

She’s the one that drove the political prosecution of six cops in the Freddie Gray case. The one where the guy was throwing himself around in the back of a paddy wagon, trying to get a payday from the city, and he broke his own neck.
Three cops went on trial and were acquitted. Charges dropped against the other three.
