Am selling my pre-war model 70 straight taper 375 H&H in all original, excellent condition. This rifle in the low 14,000 serial number range. I do not believe it was ever fired much and the blueing, stock finish and overall condition is near new. The stock is dark reddish brown and the metal is rust blued. These early 375's have the National Match barrel blanks and are 24" long. This is a fine example in great condition. It does have a little "mushrooming" of the pad but not very significant and quite a bit less than most. $6950 plus $70 shipped with insurance in a "plano" type hard plastic case to the lower 48 states.
It is becoming quite difficult to find these, especially in this condition. They add quite a uniqueness to model 70 collections. I can send many pictures to you thru email but I can't text. I have many pictures so please feel free to call or PM with questions and/or photo requests or just to talk about these fine old classics.
