I have the model that takes AR magazines. It puts bullets damn near through the same hole.

Might want to double check that. I have 2 and both are 1/8.

For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Well I stand corrected. It appears it is 1-8". It is not stamped on the barrel or listed on the box. I was able to find a few old ads and they all listed 1-8". So much for going from memory. Thanks bbassi.

Your memory matches mine. I have a rifle just like yours and I remember it as being 1-9. Might call Ruger to check or run a tight patch through it and count turns.

I found 5 or 6 old listings that included twist rate. All listed model 6928 with 1-8" twist.
