Thanks for your kind offer. I have a bunch of new Norma basic brass. Need to check dimensions. If it is right I could just form it myself. I used to mfg and sell case forming dies, but the older you get the lazier I get.

If you need factory ammo, Sportsman's Warehouse in Erie PA has about 45 boxes of factory ammo.
I know they're just filling the shelves. Surprisingly, PA deer hunters carrying .375 H&H are few and far between.
However, believe it or not, I do know one hunter that carries a .375.
Be well and Happy New Year.

For bullets I like to use Swift A Frame and North Fork if you can find them. Powders you may want to try are IMR4064, IMR4831(very bulky though), and H4350. There is also data out there for using RL15, RL17, and RL19. Surely one of those should work very well.

Where can I find the basic brass?

I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

Not sure how they work on game but don't ever pass up a box of 235 grain Speers as they are very pleasant to shoot in the 375 h & h...mb

I’ve found loaded 375 solids at gun shows cheap. Evidently one brand of 300 grain solids are poor performers.

I prefer classic.

270 gr Speers and Hornadys both shoot very well with Varget and RE 15 in my Ruger No. 1.

Are you looking for synthetic or wood?

Bell & Carlson did the composite for factory CZs. Still available through Bell & Carlson.

With the 550 being discontinued wood stocks might be a little tougher to find (factory type).

I have a CZ 458 Lott that had the factory synthetic, which are made by Bell & Carlson. The LOP was way too long on it and it has had weight or a mercury recoil reducer add to the stock.
I ordered a new stock from B&C with my LOP. Very satisfied with it. And I lost the additional 10 oz of weight added to the factory one.
Since McMillan’s new ownership and their dropping many stock types; I have several B&C stocks for Rugers and Winchester M70’s.

Butch
I have been loading 270 TSX over CFE223. I use the online Speer data. My load is several grains under maximum and goes over 2700 in my 22” barrel. I am using Hornady cases.
Have shot 8 Cape buffalo with that combination. All one each shot and done.

Thanks, I did get a few factory rounds from a friend. A B&C stock is on the way. The 3 pos safety arrived. It is slowly coming together.

Are you finding your load temp sensitive at all? I have read mixed information. Some with drastic changes and some quite stable. What is your experience with CFE 223 in the 375 H&H?

I’ve got some Hornady brass on its fourth reloading with no annealing. Very happy with it.

RL15 has been great as well.

RE 15 and 270 TSX's with R-P brass has been the ticket for me. Prolly one of the most accurate rifles I own
