Looks to be a McMillan stock? With the included scope not a bad deal, especially in todays market. I'd consider it if I needed another one

My thought as well. LH SS Win M70 plus custom stock plus decent scope. BIN puts the barreled action well under $1,000….

B&C; HS perhaps? Don’t recognize it as a McMillan pattern.
You don’t see many LH ss 338s.

They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

What happened? Doesn't say sold via BIN, just "ended."

Auction ran out with no one bidding above the reserve price. I saw that "ended" and the ending price and did a double take until seeing the "reserve not met".
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Curious. When was that originally listed? I have a saved search for left hand rifles that I run on GB averagely once a day. I never saw that rifle before AK posted up this thread. Hmmm….

I'd be curious if a Google image search brought this up somewhere.
Scammers are infiltrating Gunbroker.
A low feedback score with only feedback as a buyer raises major flags.
I wouldn't even bid without first getting more info from the seller and knowing they are legit.

There was 6 days left in the auction. Thinking he either got cold feet, a local offer or read this thread and thought he was selling too low. Since the reserve hadn't been met he could end the auction no harm no foul and no GB charges. I tried a Google image search and didn't turn up anything.

Seems very odd goings on. Posts on LRH then closes the post. Place the item for auction on GB then shortly closes the listing. Relists again on GB....each time at higher prices than before. Payment options are only "money order or certified check".
Makes me wonder. Not sure I want to go through with the risk of no way to get my money back if things go south. I was really tempted last night, not so much anymore.

Yeah, the guy is wishy washy. Listed for $1250 on LRH, then $1600 on GB, now $1800. Always wondered why people put a "Buy Now" price on an auction. In this market he might get substantially more.

At least this time it is "sold" instead of just "ended"...someone hit the BIN button. Good luck to them. If the sale was legit, they got a deal.
