Any word if Swarovski is revamping the Z3 or if they are just depleted of inventory? Was looking for a 3-9x36 with 4A reticle (just investigating for a new build, not necessarily ready to purchase), and couldn’t find any Z3 in stock at the typical vendors.

They've been on back order a while, however, we've begun getting some shipments in recently and expect more soon

You will see 'discontinued' on some vendors sites but thats just because they are faking you into buying something they have in stock. You best best at this time will be to buy a cherry used one. No big diff as the warranty is good no matter who has it.

Thanks! I know it’s that time of year for new releases to start, so wasn’t sure if we’d see a “refresh.”

That's a great little scope get some good quality rings and do a smart job installing it. I doubt they're going to revamp the Z3 line they've been building them the same for 40 years the last revamp was changing the name to Z3. Its how they do business and maintain their warranty.

Some companies change things up and cant fix their older scopes not Zwarovski.

Good luck and shoot straight y'all

And along with Z5s, will continue to be for some time. Rumor I heard was well into 2023.

I looked all over and finally found a Z3 right before our season started in Oct.
I was at Cabelas and they had depleted the inventory and sold the floor model. They did however still have a few behind the counter including my 3-10x
I’ve found that’s a regular deal at our Cabela’s

I’ve had a 3X9 before, now I have a 3X10. Now I’m looking for another 3X9 I’ve never had a problem with these scopes, hopefully I never will.
For some reason, I really like the 3X9 seams to work great on my 308 Winchester.
Take care.

Ahhh, lucky me I reckon. I bought just that Z3 in 3-9x36 with a 4A on a whim two years ago, still BNIB. As soon as I find the M70 EW in .308 it will go on it.

What is it about the 4A reticle that y'all like vs a standard plex reticle?

The 4a is just thick/bold enough to stand out much better in poor light and for me it helps line up the crosshairs when things are happening quick.
I wish every scope maker offered it.

Would love one.

I'm putting one on order with EuroOptic. It'll come in when they get them in inventory.

We can get you set up for one as well, if you'd like
