Thanks for reminding me that I'm way overdue for a sardine sandwich lunch. None of that hot sauce for me, though. Around here it's only soybean oil or water. Getting too old for all that hot stuff.

Hard salami and cojack sandwich with hot mustard. Had a bowl of the wife's split pea and ham soup to warm up but the sammich was enough.
Pea soup is now on tomorrow's menu.

Supper tonight is pot pies cooked in a Coleman camp stove on the woodburner. Saving those electrons!

A slice of meat loaf, hash browns and green beans from Mama's Cafe in San Antonio. Good stuff and I brought half home for tomorrows lunch as I am on puppy duty while my wife heads out to golf.

mighty small lunch. i make about 5 gallons of vegetable soup every few weeks and eat a big bowl for lunch every day along with crackers.
