Something isn't right. Turns out I am not banned on the Accurate Shooters forum but for some reason when I clicked on the login I would get a message saying my IP address is banned. Then sometimes it would say the website requires that my browser accepts cookies. I made sure my settings allowed their Shooters forum could land cookies on me. Even specifically set it up so that forum is listed to allow that. The way I found that I was not banned was to open up a VPN. So any ideas why several forums I hardly visit like Steves pages would have my IP address banned.

So I decided to enter the IP address they say is mine and this comes up. https://www.calix.com/Which is a high tech gamer/protection site. Bizarre.

No, it’s actually a communication’s/IT company offering business computing and cloud solutions. This leads me to believe even more they spoofed it and started spamming the sh*t out of members.

Well think of this. Spoof a trusted I.P gain access to the network and hack away. Common practice. Or spam the member base. Or use that I.P addy to send out 100K spam emails all at your expense trace wise. Again common.

They blocked my IP at tndeer. LOL
they blocked a whole suffix of last digits. A few other nancy do-gooders in my area got blocked too on there because of me.
LOL
I just fire up new logins with a dynamic IP or proxy or from at the beach IP in another state.

This may have nothing to do with the host sites and everything to do with your ISP. More and more ISPs are blocking access to gun and hunting sites. When you use a VPN you bypass the list of your ISP's banned websites.
