Do any of you have a a good/safe load for a 250 Savage in a Savage model 16 bolt action for 87 grain spritzers, in particular Sierra 87 grainers with Big Game powder??

Have had good luck with 87-grain Bergers using 40.0 grains of Big Game, for around 3100 fps from a 22-inch barrel.

I've used it with 100s quite a bit. 37.5 grain, 100 Nosler Partition. Mauser rebarreled. Killed a truck load of elk
