I hunted elk from 94 to 2012 with limited success. it was all DIY in Co unit 421. Dad got too old and I traded the trip for an annual fishing trip to MN. Long story short my daughter is ready to elk hunt and I’ll be getting back in the swing of things. I have four points for Co but she has none. I am thinking first choice pp second choice first rifle cow. I killed a giant bull in 08 that had no business living up on the Mesa so a cow tag is all I’ve gotten since. I think she would be happy with a cow. She’s an accomplished hunter with a bunch of larger whitetail under her belt
