I guess those people milling around on the ferry heard it and had time to react but they are lucky he didn't land that thing on one of them

Sarcasm, I’m plenty old enough to remember the movie and the Ford commercials.

I’d say he stuck the landing.

You have to wonder what was on his mind. He just couldn't miss that ferry? Good thing he didn't land on anyone.

RV's aren't exactly built to car safety standards.

KFWA;
Top of the morning to you sir, I hope that you're either getting the weather you need or adequately surviving the weather you're getting and that all in your world are well.

If I recall correctly that happened in early summer 2019 in Quebec and the driver didn't survive it.

While it's for sure armchair quarterbacking on my part, I'd like to think I could have hit something way before that to slow the RV down, but then again not everyone has had the "interesting" driving experiences I've had and/or react well under pressure.

There's always the e-brake to act as a bit of a sea anchor too. Never hurts to know if it's working on any rig we get behind the wheel of, just in case - you know?

All the best to you all for the remainder of the week and here's to us all staying well, warm and dry.

Dwayne
