Supposedly the Canucks are not going to let unvaxed truckers through the border. This I guess is one of the reasons why many of our shelves in the grocery stores are starting to get bare. The pepsi and hotdog crowd might get a bit testy if the stores run out of food because of a stupid policy at the border.

I''ve talked with quite a few truckers who regularly haul groceries up from Seattle area. Most every one just took other contracts and are hauling stateside now instead of up North. If this keeps up for very long, We will run out of fresh goods, or start paying REALLY exorbitant fees for goods to be flown up. I expect Anchorage grocery stores to start looking like bush community stores within a month.
