I put a separate post elsewhere before I thought to place this among the gun writers. I really need to find a set of 7mm JRS (John Sundra design) or alternately 280 Gibbs dies.
The reason is I bought this wonderful vintage pre-WWII 98 Mauser in 7x64. Mannlicher stock, DST, great caliber, engraving, floor plate release, full length rib on the barrel, octagon to round barrel. the works. Unfortunately some, ahem , "gunsmith" buggered the chamber such that the only hope is to rechamber it to something fatter and longer. The 7 JRS and or Gibbs will fit the bill. I have found the reamers to rechamber her, but I can not find a set of reloading dies for either cartridge.
Does anybody have a set of 7 JRS reloading dies for sale. Ditto for 280 Gibbs. PM me, please?
