This particular configuration has fetched a lot of money recently. I think I've seen 4 over the last two years that brought $2500-3000 or more.

Nice wood. I’m not a fan of those full length stocks, different strokes.

I see it as a mindless combination of cool features. A classic European Mannlicher stock should go on a classic looking rifle. Not stainless. I do like wood on that one. I might start to get some emotion if I saw double triggers and solid rear sight. I am with War Eagle, not my cup of tea,

Too bad Ruger doesn’t make a run of these in either 35 Rem or 358 Win 🙄 …or even 348 Win.

With the direction of the grain in the wrist of that beautiful stock, I might be afraid that it would come apart if I fired it. RJ

The only thing that would be uglier than a RSI SS No.1 would be a SxS double shotgun with a laminated Mannlicher stock.

Wow. I didn't know they were going for that much. I have one that I gave my daughter, that I was thinking to send in and get an upgraded laminate stock for her and I to have a matched set of laminate mannlichers, but now I'm not as sure. Maybe if I save the walnut? $3000+ sheesh. Here's my little girl with hers in .308. I don't want to boast about her, but I suspect she is quite possibly the best long-distance marksman in her kindergarten class.

Starting out at $4250 ... that's nuts. No wonder it has no bids. In .357, I think I would prefer a Marlin 1894.

The CHP ones were limited run and a smaller number made without the logo on receiver. Those have been fetching a higher price for some time. Could have it reamed to .357 max, .35 rem or .358 win. Pretty cool. Toyed w the idea when they were around 1500. The RSI are 20" bbls and in something of zip, kinda blasty. Rather have 22" A model. Although an RSI in .35 rem would be mild mannered.
