I was hoping for some help on identifying the date on a Browning A5
Serial number on the backside of the chamber is : B33719
The B indicates that it is a 12 gauge, and probably manufactured by remington between 1940-1946. However those guns on the browning site show a serial number in excess of 225,000.
I can not figure it out. The 33719 ages the gun to 1926 if I only used the serial number as a reference.
Any help would be great!

As you mention, it was made by Remington for Browning from 1940 to roughly 1948. They were informally called, "American Browning's" by many. They are a mix of Remington M-11 and Browning A-5 design with some unique modifications which can be a bit of problem for parts. As such, it is a different serial series from Browning and even Remington, I believe.
I was an "acquirer" of A-5s for a while and had one of each gauge of this type. The best one can do regarding date of manufacture is 1940-1948 or thereabouts. War time records of civilian guns is pretty spotty as most production was diverted to military purposes. Neither Browning nor Remington seem to want to claim ownership of these guns so the guns hang in limbo. I got out of my A-5 phase before the Internet became as popular as it is now so one might find more on these orphans today with some searching. There is probably a Browning fanboy club out there who has dug into the model more than what is readily available but if there is one, I haven't looked for it.
