I've bought the silver sets before and painted them with stove paint. After drying the paint on in the oven, they've held up well.

Big Ed Ed: I've thrown a bunch of these out through the years. I know some guys get good use out of them, but I thought they were low quality and was surprised guns as well built as Tikka/Sako came with them. FWIW I've used the Sportsmatch and Warne rings directly to the integral rail over the years and have been exceedingly pleased with both.
