Lovely cabin, beautifully built! The chinking is a mix of portland cement, sand, and red clay.. Thus it looks like the red clay used by the pioneers. In the middle, is 4 inches of foam insulation, and the red clay chinking on the outside, and inside, is just 1/2 inch thick. We get the look of the pioneers, combined with insulation of R16 which exceeds the Georgia building code.
