You just have to stick around a while OP. The place will grow on you. I actually enjoy a lot of the BS and join in myself now. It's really a bunch of good guys and you can tell the FTARD that he is a FTARD and you won't even get banned. I have been banned on multiple other sites for doing just that. And a plus to all of it is, there is still a wealth of knowledge here and the best classifieds ever!

In the last 74 (seventy four!) years I have sat around campfires and had discussions in at least 18 states, from Alaska to Texas, and in two Canadian Provinces and often the conversations included "politics" and "whining" (complaining!)!
