Here's a great web site that tracks the studies being done on Ivermectin. It is updated frequently. Questionable studies with poor controls are deleted, and the deleted studies are listed along with the reason for deletion. So, as far as we can tell, these are pretty much all the high quality studies.
Statistically significant improvements are seen for mortality, ventilation, ICU admission, hospitalization, recovery, cases, and viral clearance.

Elimination of COVID-19 is a race against viral evolution. No treatment, vaccine, or intervention is 100% available and effective for all variants. All practical, effective, and safe means should be used, including treatments, as supported by Pfizer [Pfizer, TrialSiteNews]. Denying the efficacy of treatments increases mortality, morbidity, collateral damage, and endemic risk.
My wife thought I was FOS.....and then she had the rona'. She was hurting bad. I finally heard her say, "give me that crap". 3 hours later, fever broke and she never looked back. Science denier no more.

The stuff had been known to work a lot of the times it's used. Problem is the Gov. bastards and Big Pharma can't make money on it.
After using it and reading up on it, I'm inclined to recommend Hydroxyurea as a preventative for Covid-19. It gives RNA virus' a hard time. Hepatitis, HIV, Covid-19,...they all hate to see Hydroxyurea coming down the old bloodstream.
It requires a prescription and if your body chemistry isn't of a suitable nature, it can have some very nasty side effects,...including death. Instructions say that you should wash your hands after touching hydroxyurea,..even though you're eating it. (I haven't quite figured that out yet)
But anyway, It seems to be compatible to my makeup.

I got a PM from huntsonora about ivermectin and dosage. I was getting pretty rough when I took my first dose around 8am and by 3pm I felt good enough to walk around the yard and throw ball with the dog. I’ve passed on info to quite a few people with the Rona and ivermectin has helped every single one of them.
FDA won't approve it without clinical trials. Nobody will pay to get clinical trials done, because there is no money to be made on it. In fact, it would displace more profitable medications. It's kind of a perverse system.
Needs to be taken early in the process when the virus is replicating in your body. If you wait tong to get tested then have to wait too long for results before you take it, then it may not work so well. And it may take you a while to find some.
