OP Oakster Campfire Tracker O Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 4,113 Wyoming	I have a lot of rifles that are topped with VX 1 or VX2 optics. I have 6 or 7 of those same scopes sitting in boxes to go on rifles. Now.... I would like to possibly sell some, or swap scopes out on some rifles and upgrade to some better glass for a few rifles. I think for the most part, the best scopes I own are Ziess Conquests, mostly 3-9x40 but I do have a few nicer. Whats out there to upgrade to that is reasonable in price, light (under a pound ideally) and actually in stock? Are there any good sales, promotions or close outs going on?

I have one sitting here in the box and another they just shipped out today. Think I'm going to send em to be cerakoted gloss. Mentally, I took post #3 as the over/under before someone said exactly those words! Well the OP also has 3-9 Conquests, and those are actually pretty sweet scopes. In the under $400 for a huntin scope category a guy could do worse than finding another good clean used 3-9 Conquest. I regret not snagging a few more at the end there when you could get them for what, $279 or something crazy like that?! Other than that I got nuthin’. Lfcrok is largest seller. xmas time I sold him a plain jane vx6 2-10 with a nick in the objective rim and no box for $700.
